Online survey sites have emerged as a popular way for people to earn a bit of extra income in their spare time. They are a quick and convenient way to gather data and opinions from a vast cross-section of the population. In return for their time and insights, survey participants are often rewarded with various forms of remuneration. One such increasingly popular payment option is Amazon gift cards.
If you want to be rewarded with Amazon gift cards online, you have come to the right place. Here, we reviewed the 30 best sites to take online surveys for Amazon gift cards in 2024.
This is a detailed and easy to follow guide for anybody that wants any kind of gift cards for surveys.
What is your opinion on topic XYZ? How about getting paid for that opinion of yours, whatever it is (good bad or ugly)? You probably share your opinion every day when you post on social media platforms or join discussions on online platforms. Why not get paid for it?
That is exactly what paid survey sites to do. They pay you to give your opinion on certain products, services, or general issues. What is more; you simply have to answer simple survey questions, in a few minutes, and most often, from your mobile device. You probably can earn a few dollars while emptying your bowels in the toilet.
The options in the reward catalogue of survey sites (that is, how you are paid) are varied. You can get paid via gift cards, checks (cheques), and cash transfer (to your bitcoin wallet, web wallet accounts, PayPal account, or any other prepaid card). This post is about survey sites that pay using gift cards.
Surveys for gift cards of different kinds will be discussed in this post. Gift cards such as Amazon, Best Buy, eBay, Walmart and iTunes etc.
What is a Gift Card?
A Gift Card (also known as a gift certificate, gift voucher, and gift token) is a prepaid “stored-valued” card issued by a retailer to be used, as an alternative to cash, for purchases (up to the value of the card) at the particular store.
With gift cards in the reward catalogue of most of the paid survey sites, the process of getting paid couldn’t be easier. You don’t even have to open bank accounts, PayPal accounts, web wallets, bitcoin wallets etc. You complete a survey; and a physical gift card or e-gift card will be sent to you, which you can use for your purchases at the appropriate store. If you opt for the physical gift card, it will be sent to your home address; while the e-gift cards will be received in your e-mail.
What are Amazon Gift Cards?
Amazon gift cards are prepaid payment cards that can be used to purchase items on Amazon.com and other Amazon-owned platforms. They can be used to purchase millions of products on the site and are easy to use. Simply enter the unique code on the back of the card during the checkout process to apply it to your purchase.
Amazon gift cards can be physical cards or digital codes. They come in a variety of denominations, starting as low as a few dollars and going up to several hundred. This makes them an adaptable payment method suitable for various types of rewards, whether you’re looking to thank someone for completing a short, simple survey or reward a participant for a long and involved study.
Why Do Survey Sites Use Amazon Gift Cards?
1. Universality and Popularity: Amazon is one of the world’s largest online marketplaces, with a vast range of products available. Almost everyone can find something they’d like to buy on Amazon, making its gift cards a universally appealing reward.
2. Easy Distribution: Amazon gift cards can be quickly and conveniently delivered electronically. This means no waiting for a check in the mail or dealing with the hassle of bank transfers. Digital codes can be sent via email and used immediately.
3. Flexibility and Choice for the User: The gift cards offer users the flexibility to choose what they’d like to purchase. Whether it’s a book, gadget, or even groceries in some areas, the choice is vast.
4. Lower Costs and Logistics: From a logistical point of view, distributing digital rewards like Amazon gift cards is easier and more cost-effective than sending physical items.
5. Security: Amazon gift cards allow users to receive payment without divulging sensitive personal financial information.
34 Sites To Take Online Surveys for Amazon Gift Cards
1. PrizeRebel
Other than that PrizeRebel is a California based rewards program that was started in 2007, little else is known about the company in terms of its owners and/ or operators. However, there is no doubt that Prize Rebel is a legit rewards site that pays members to share their opinions.
Currently, they boast of over 8 million members; and from 2007 to date, they have paid out over $16 million to their members.
Most often than not, rebels are not seen as desirable elements. But for once you’ll readily want to be a “rebel” (and join Prize Rebel), because you’re sure to get cash prizes for being this “rebel”, and the payment will come fast. Prize Rebel is reputable for not just paying their members, but also for fast payment.
Earning Potential:
PrizeRebel has huge earning potential. They use the points system and reward you with points for completing paid activities. Prize Rebel gives you points for joining. Like all survey panels, you’ll have to complete a profile (providing demographic information), which will be used to send you fitting surveys. Prize Rebel rewards you with points for completing the profile.
After joining, you’ll have the option to take a “tour; this is simply taking you around the site to know how it works and how you’ll earn using it. Prize Rebel also gives you points for the tour. There is also a lot of bonus offers that you’ll get after completing your registration, where you may quickly answer simple questions and earn some points.
Then there are the regular surveys. When you qualify for and complete a survey, you’ll earn points which depend on the length of the survey. Typically, the cash equivalent of points you’ll earn per survey is $0.75 -$3.
Also, Prize Rebel has “Quick daily surveys” which many members reckon is the best-earning activity in the site. These surveys are everything their name surveys; they can be completed very quickly, and they are available on a daily basis. Quick daily surveys pay the point equivalent of about $0.75 per survey. Thus, by completing a couple of these surveys in a day, you’ll be earning a decent amount from Prize Rebel.
There’s also a referral program where you can earn as much as 20% – 30% of whatever your referrals earn.
Brief PrizeRebel Review:
Again, we are pleased to see that there are other earning activities other than surveys in the site. There are lots of paid offers to do which includes clicking on banners, visiting and joining other sites, watching videos/ playlists, and more.
Also, Prize Rebel offers earning opportunities to many persons than most reward sites because Prize Rebel is available in many countries across the globe. You’ll find that most rewards sites can only be used by panellists in the US, Canada, and a few other European countries.
Granted, Prize Rebel holds survey panels for only these few countries, but members from across the globe can use Prize Rebel to earn by doing the numerous non-survey activities in the site.
Their referral program is also one of a kind, and you can use it to accrue a decent passive income. First, members have status in Prize Rebel which is determined by how much a member has earned in the site; and the member’s status directly affects his/ her referral bonus.
For example, every member starts off with a referral bonus of 20%; after earning 1,000 points (silver status), referral bonus increases to 25%; and at the highest membership level (16,000 points), the referral bonus will be 30%.
The points conversion rate is 100 points = $1.00. When it comes to redeeming your points and getting paid, you may receive your payment via gift cards, PayPal payment, or consumer products. For the gift card option, you’ll find joy in the site, because they have gift cards of tons of retailers including the big brands such as Amazon, Walmart, and iTunes.
Also, there are lots of gift cards that you can redeem for $2.00, which means that you’ll be ready to get paid with just after only a little work. However, if you’ll prefer PayPal payment, you’ll need a minimum of 500 points to cash out.
It’s been mentioned earlier that Prize Rebel is known for fast payouts. Most of the time, payouts are processed within 24 hours. However, in a few instances, you’ll have to wait for 24 – 48 hours to receive your payment. Visit: https://www.prizerebel.com/
2. SuperPay.me
SuperPayme is also owned by 99 Ventures. They are a sister site of Offer Nation, and there are lots of similarities between the two reward sites. In terms of membership, SuperPayme boasts more. They have over 800,000 members and have paid out over $2 million to these members.
SuperPayme is one reward site that prides themselves on not just paying members, but on fast payments. Thus, there’s no doubt that SuperPayme pays its members to do surveys for Amazon gift cards.
Earning Potential:
When you join SuperPayme, they reward you with a welcome bonus of $0.20 just for joining. When you complete paid activities, you’ll earn more. The principal paid activity is taking surveys. For each survey you qualify for and complete, you can earn up to $2.00.
You can also earn in SuperPayme by doing their paid offers. These are simple tasks that include visiting and joining other sites, watching playlists/ videos, clicking on and watching PTC (Paid To Click) ads and more. Many of these offers pay pennies, but they’re welcome breaks from surveys that can be quickly done to get a few cents in the bag.
SuperPayme also has a generous referral program. If you bring people on board, you’ll earn 25% of everything these people earn.
Brief Superpayme Review:
You will not be short of survey opportunities in SuperPayme. They have hundreds of new surveys daily because they draw surveys from multiple survey providers. The more surveys there are in the site, the more survey invites you’ll get, the more surveys you’re likely to qualify for, the more surveys you’ll complete, and the more you’ll earn. It’s also a good thing that there are multiple avenues to earn on the site.
However, the biggest selling point of SuperPayme is fast payouts. About half of member’s payouts are issued instantly and will be reflected in just a few minutes; while over 90% of payments are processed in less than 8 hours. As a result, Super Pay normally features in the list of paid survey sites with fast payouts.
Another good thing about SuperPayme is that they have one of the lowest minimal cash-out amount, which is $1.00. With that, you won’t have to overwork yourself in the site before you cash out. The options in their reward catalogue include PayPal, Payza, Bitcoin, Skrill and Amazon Gift Cards. Members who want their rewards as cash transferred to their accounts will like that these other options are available in addition to the Amazon gift cards.
However, it might not be too pleasing to gift cards fans that the only gift cards available are Amazon gift cards as that will confine members to making their purchases from Amazon. Visit: Https://www.superpay.me
3. Offer Nation
Offer Nation is a GPT (Get Paid To) site that was started around 2013 by 99 Ventures. They advertise as “the best paid survey site”. At the time of writing, they had about 130,000 members, and have paid out almost $390,000. Offer Nation is actually part of a network of reward sites that include sites like Superpay.me and Rewarding Ways. Thus, there’s really no doubt that Offer Nation is legit, and will pay you Amazon gift card for the survey you completed
Earning Potential:
Many survey panels either use the point systems or pay with cash directly, but Offer Nation uses a combination of both. You get cash for paid offers, but for surveys and some other paid offers, you’ll get reward points which you can later convert to cash and other prizes.
Because Offer Nation gives a sign-up bonus, you start earning the moment you join. You get $0.25 for joining. When you qualify for and complete surveys, you can earn as much as $2.00 depending on the length of the survey.
Apart from paid surveys, Offer Nation also has paid offers where you can earn from doing simple tasks. These include watching videos/ playlists, downloading apps and games, posting your Offer Nation payment proof on any other internet forum, etc. They also have a very generous referral program that rewards you with 25% of whatever your direct referral earns.
Offer Nation also rewards its top-earning members quarterly. The top 20 earners in the site in every quarter will share $1,000, with the $350 going to the top earner. This is an added incentive to increase your activity in the site and increase your earnings.
Brief Offernation Review:
One thing to like about Offer Nation is that they have a lot of surveys; they add hundreds of paid surveys daily. They are able to do this because they have lots of survey providers both from within the site and outside the site.
With many surveys available, you’re more likely to qualify for and complete more surveys, which mean more earnings. It’s also a good thing that there are other earning activities other than surveys. Also, the referral bonus (25% of referrals earnings) is one of the largest you’ll find in the industry.
You can request payment when you have at least $1.00 in your offer Nation account. This low minimum cash out means you’ll not overwork or wait too long before you can cash out. If alternative payment method is a big concern of yours, you’ll love Offer Nation.
The options in their reward catalogue are PayPal, Payza, Skrill, Bitcoin and Amazon gift cards. Recall that Offer Nation rewards you with points or cash when you complete paid activities.
It’s only such reward points that you can redeem for Amazon Gift cards. Direct cash rewards must be requested using any of the other options in the reward catalogue. This might not go down well with everybody because getting your rewards using two different methods is really not super-convenient.
It might not also go well with a lot of persons that, in terms of gift cards, only Amazon gift cards are available.
That said; Offer Nation is one of the reward sites that pride themselves on fast payouts. They advertise that their average payment time is less than four hours; but whatever the case, when you cash out, you’ll get your payout within 24 hours. As a result, Offer Nation always features on lists of paid survey sites that pay instantly. Visit: https://www.offernation.com/
4. Rewarding Ways
A legit paid survey site will be backed by a reputable company and will have a track record of actually paying members that completely paid activities. Rewarding Ways ticks both boxes. They are owned by 99 Ventures Ltd – a 100% legal, London based company that provides worldwide online advertising and opportunities to earn money online.
Rewarding ways provides all that you’ll expect of a rewards site; their owners are hugely experience in the opinion survey industry as they operate two other popular sites (Offer Nation and Super Pay).
In terms of rewarding members, Rewarding Ways has over 340,000 (at the time of writing) and has paid out over $924,000 to these members.
Earning Potential:
You also start earning the moment you join the survey panel. They have a welcome bonus offer that rewards you with $0.20 the moment you complete your registration. Your profile will be used to send you survey invites. When you qualify for and complete any survey, what you’ll earn depends on the length of the survey, and can be as much as $2.00 per survey.
Apart from surveys, there are a ton of paid offers. These include simple tasks such as visiting and joining certain sites, downloading certain free apps, watching PTC ads, and more. The earning from offers is usually far less than surveys; you’ll sometimes get less than a cent per offer on many of the paid offers.
You can earn a lot of passive income from referrals. Rewarding ways has a referral program that gives you 25% of everything that your direct referrals earn. If you’ve checked other survey panels, you‘ll find that this is one of the biggest direct referral bonus there is in the industry.
Brief Rewardways Review:
The ideal survey panel should have a lot of surveys available so that you’ll always have something to do in the site to put the dollars in the bag. Rewarding ways ticks the box in this regard. Like their sister sites, they draw surveys from a lot of providers and are able to provide hundreds of new surveys on a daily basis.
It’s also a plus when survey panels have other earning activities. In Rewarding Ways, you can take a break from surveys, and do paid offers. As always, these offers pay very little (sometimes too little to be worth looking at), but they’ll be a welcome break from the monotony of surveys.
With only $1.00 in your account, you can request a payment, which means that Rewarding Ways has one of the lowest cash-out amounts among rewards sites. Thus, unlike sites where you’ll have to overwork to reach a high withdrawal threshold; in Rewarding Ways, after only a little work, you’ll be able to cash out.
As this is a post for surveys sites that pay with gift cards, it’s certain that you can get your reward as gift cards; but only Amazon vouchers are available. If you’ll want options, you’ll have to look beyond Rewarding Ways.
However, their reward catalogue has other options other than Amazon gift cards such as PayPal, Payza, Skrill, and bitcoin. Note that there is a processing fee for these options. It’s 2% for PayPal, 3% for Payza and Skrill and 10% for bitcoin.
That said; if you don’t want to wait for long after cashing out to receive your reward, Rewarding Ways will appeal to you. Rewarding Ways takes pride in fast payouts; after cashing out, you should receive your payment a few hours after. They proudly state on their site that you’ll “get paid the same day”. 6. Swagbucks
Swagbucks is a subsidiary of the US Internet and Media Company – Prodege LLC. Thus, the company is 100% legal. They one of the most popular rewards sites on the internet with over 20 million members. Most importantly, Swagbucks actually for members for their opinions.
At the time of writing this review, Swagbucks have paid out over $312 million to their members. Thus, there’s no doubt that this is a legit rewards site that will pay you when you complete surveys and other paid activities.
Earning Potential:
Swag Bucks also uses the point system. For every paid activity you complete you’ll earn SB (swag buck) points. However, even before you start any earning activity, Swag Bucks pays you. They offer a signup bonus that rewards you with $10.00 when you join.
After joining, when you qualify for and complete a survey (which should not take more than 10 minutes to complete), you’ll earn 40 – 200 SB points. With their conversion rate (100 SB points = $1.00), what you’ll be getting is $0.4 – $2.00 per survey.
If you do a couple of these regular surveys, you can earn double figures in an hour. Also, there are once-in-a-blue-moon occasions where you can get some surveys that pay as high as $50.
One of the best things about Swag Bucks is that surveys are not the only earning activity. Swag Bucks has a partnership with over 1500 retailers that include popular brands such as WalMart, Target and Starbucks. You earn by printing coupons and redeeming them in any of the stores.
You can also earn from their cashback program; on top of what you earn when you redeem a coupon, you’ll get back a percentage of every dollar you spend in the stores.
Swag Bucks also has deals where you’ll earn simply by visiting and joining other sites. There’s also earning from watching videos; where you’re only required to watch a playlist (sometimes just for a minute) put together by Swagbucks.
Also, you can earn from your normal web searches. Instead of using your regular search engine for your web searches, install the Swag Bucks search engine, and you’ll earn for doing what you do already (searching the web). Lastly, there is a referral program that rewards you with 10% of whatever your referrals earn.
Brief Review:
Swagbucks is one rewards program that features in the top positions in many lists of top reward programs. This is not surprising as they have very good reviews in independent customers’ review platforms.
We like that there are many earning opportunities; and most of them are what you probably do already such as searching the web, watching short playlist online, playing online games etc. So why not earn from them? If you’ll want a site where you can take a break from surveys, but still earn doing other simple tasks, Swag Bucks ticks the box.
Also, Swag Bucks does not have minimum cash-out amount, which means that you can request to be paid even if you have only $1.00 in your Swag Bucks account. We like seeing rewards sites with no (or very low) minimum cash-out amount, because it means that you won’t have to overwork in the site before you can cash out.
When you cash out, you may receive your reward as PayPal payment or as gift cards. Swag Bucks has gift cards to some big brands such as Amazon and Walmart. Visit: https://www.swagbucks.com
7. MyPoints
My Points is a California based rewards program that was started in 1996; and therefore can be considered as a pioneer GPT (Get Paid To) site has operated for over two decades.
It’s now owned and operated by Prodege LLC – a leading internet and media group that operates multiple customer engagement brands including the web most popular reward program (Swagbucks). Being backed by an incorporated giant tells you that My Points is legit.
My points have iOS and Android apps that you may install and use for taking their surveys. As with all survey panels; when you register, you’ll have to complete a profile, which the company will use to determine your interests and know what kind of surveys to send you.
Earning Potential:
First, as the name reveals, My Points rewards you with points when you complete earning activities, which you can later convert to cash at the rate of 700 points = $5.00. That said; when you download and install My Points app, you’re rewarded with 100 points (which is a little over $0.70).
Thus, if you want a good head start, you’ll download and use the app instead of working directly from the website.
How much you earn per survey depends on the length of the survey, but will be between 50 and 400 points, which work at about $0.35 – $2.85. It’s known that disqualifications from surveys plague most survey panels. Thankfully, for every five surveys, you’re disqualified from, My Points will give you 5 points. It’s not much, but it’s better than leaving you empty.
There are many earning activities in My Points other than taking surveys. If you use their Yahoo! powered search engine for your web searches (instead of Google or your regular search engine), you’ll earn 100 points for every 50 searches.
You can earn by printing and redeeming coupons of any of the many stories in the program; the more coupons you redeem the more your earnings (you get 25 points for clearing 10 – 15 coupons, but 50 points for clearing more than 15 coupons).
If you shop in any of the many stores in My Point’s cashback program, you’ll get 2 points for every dollar spent. There is a paid email (BonusMail) opportunity where you’ll earn about 5 points simply for opening and reading emails.
You can also get 5 – 10 points simply for playing games featured in My Points; what is more, these games also have jackpots attached, and if you get lucky, you’ll also bank the life-changing sum. The earning opportunities in My Points are endless; others include watching playlists/ videos and watching PTC ads.
They also have a referral program that gives you a double reward. You get 25 points when you refer someone, and you’ll also earn 10% of whatever that person earns.
Brief Mypoints Review
When it’s time to request your reward; My Points have gift cards for a wide variety of stores (Amazon, Barnes and Noble, JC Penny, and more). As said earlier, you’ll need 700 points to redeem most of the $5.00 gift cards.
They have other options in their reward catalogue; you can get your reward as PayPal payment or as travel miles to your United MileagePlus account. However, for PayPal, you’ll need the points equivalent of $25. It’s clear that the withdrawal limit is relatively high for PayPal, which makes gift cards the best option if you won’t want to wait too long before being able to withdraw your earnings.
It is always good to see so many earning opportunities in a rewards site. You won’t get bored on the site as you go about earning that extra income.
However, My Points earning opportunities are only for persons in the US and Canada. As you would have guessed, people from a lot more countries need rewards programs for some additional income and will be hurt by the US and Canada focus of My Points. Visit: https://www.mypoints.com/

11. Harris Poll Online
The Harris Poll is considered a true legend of research panels. The keywords of this post are “online survey sites” and “gift cards”, but The Harris Poll predates both because the panel was started as far back as 1963 when there was no internet, and no gift cards as a means of payment.
It kicked off as a presidential pollster and used survey results to advice the campaign of J.F. Kennedy who will later win the election and become president of the US.
The Harris Poll is a member of research organizations both in the US and in Europe which includes: the US Council for Marketing and Opinion Research (CMOR), the US National Council of Public Polls (NCPP), the British Polling Council, the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO), the UK Market Research Society, and the European Society for Opinion & Marketing Research (ESOMAR).
Thus, there’s no doubt that The Harris Poll is a legit paid survey panel; if you take their surveys, you’ll surely get paid.
They might have started as a political pollster, but their surveys now cover a range of topics including consumer goods and services
Earning Potential:
The Harris Polls use the points system. They reward you with points when you complete a paid activity which you can later convert to cash prizes. You should expect to get 75 – 200 points for each survey which will typically be 10 – 25 minutes long.
1250 points are the equivalent of $10. Thus, your cash earning is $0.60 – $1.60 per survey. Even when you’re disqualified from a survey, and do not complete it; The Harris Poll still award you 15 points (which is $0.12). Lastly, The Harris Poll holds quarterly sweepstakes where they award a lucky member with $10,000.
Brief Harris Polls Review:
The minimum you can cash out is 1250 points; which makes the minimum cash-out amount $10.00. With this relatively low cash-out amount, you won’t have to overwork in the survey panel before you can cash out your rewards.
The Harris Poll has only gift cards in their reward catalogue. You can get e-gift cards of Amazon, Walmart, iTunes, Starbucks, ESPN, and tens of other popular retailers. This may be a disadvantage if you’ll rather have your reward as cash transferred to your account (PayPal or another prepaid card); however, it allows The Harris Poll to offer fast payouts.
As a result, The Harris Poll features on lists of paid survey sites that pay instantly; you’ll get the e-gift card emailed to you almost immediately you cash out.
Another thing to love about The Harris Poll is that you’ll get an entry into their $10,000 sweepstake every time you try a survey. That is, whether you are disqualified and kicked out of a survey, or you take it to completion, you’ll gain an entry into the sweepstakes.
This is cool because, in most survey panels, you only gain an entry into sweepstakes when you actually complete a survey.
One of the few things that count against The Harris Poll is that the only earning activity in the site is taking surveys. More so, they do not send out too many survey invites; you’ll get only about 3 and 5 invites per month. Visit: https://www.harrispollonline.com/
12. Valued Opinions
Valued Opinion is part of Research now, which is a pioneer in online research, and one of the world’s largest online survey companies. Valued Opinions was started in 2004, and now has over 3 million members which make them one of the biggest survey panels. As their name suggests, they value your opinions and will pay you to share it.
Earning Potential:
Valued Opinions also use the points systems. Each survey should take you about 15 – 30 minutes to complete; and you should expect to earn the points equivalent of $1.00 – $5.00 per survey.
Brief Valued Opinion Review:
In Valued Opinions, you can earn by only taking surveys. If you want a site with other earning opportunities, you’ll have to look beyond Valued Opinions. However, Valued Opinions is worth remaining in because they offer a good number of surveys.
Members report receiving a relatively high number of survey invites; thus, you’ll not be short of surveys to do in the sites. With a lot of survey invites, you’re more likely to qualify to complete more surveys, which should put more money in your pocket.
The minimum that can be cashed out is $20. This is relatively high and means that you’ll have a little more work to do before you can withdraw. However, with a lot of surveys available, you should reach the withdrawal threshold in no time.
Valued Opinion also has only gift cards in their rewards catalogue. They ensure that all your purchase needs are covered; as they have e-gift cards for literally hundreds of retailers which include Amazon vouchers, iTunes e-gift cards, CVS e-gift cards, Spa Week e-gift codes, Fragrance.net e-gift cards, Chillis gift cards, Restaurant.com e-gift cards, Magazines.com gift codes.
As mentioned earlier, you might not like that only gift cards are in the reward catalogue if you’ll want reward as cash transferred to your accounts. However, the upside of issuing rewards via e-vouchers is that Valued Opinions is able to deliver fast payouts. These e-vouchers are delivered to your email almost instantly following your cash out. Visit: https://www.valuedopinions.com
13. Darwin’s Data
Darwin’s Data is a California based survey panel that advertises as a “legal research company”. They conduct opinion research on legal matters. However, you do not need to be a legal person (legal practitioner etc) to participate in surveys.
Like most survey sites, getting started with Darwin’s Data involve registering and completing a profile. However, that’s where the similarity with the regular survey panels ends. Where other survey panels will use your profile to send you survey invites; in Darwin’s Data, you’ll have to log into your account and request an invitation to participate in a survey. Your request will be put in a queue until such a time when a fitting survey becomes available.
However, there are no guarantees. When you do get approval and are given a survey. You’ll watch a video about a legal dispute, and you’ll answer some questions about it (no difficult stuff, just what you think about what you’ve just watched). A typical survey will take about one hour. Thankfully, you don’t have to complete it in a stretch.
Earning Potential:
When you register and complete a profile, Darwin’s Data will reward you with $10.00. Unlike other paid survey sites where what you earn per survey depends on the length of the survey, Darwin’s Data pays a flat rate. For completing a survey, you’ll earn $25.
The Brief Review:
The $25 that Darwin’s Data pay per survey makes them one of the highest paying sites per surveys. However, you should not start dreaming of using Darwin’s Data to get rich because you won’t get the approval to participate in surveys too often.
Actually, you should expect only about 1 – 3 survey approvals in a year. Also, since taking the surveys will require you to watch a video, you’ll need more resources than you would with conventional surveys. For example, you’ll need Flash Player installed, compatible browsers that are up to date, as well as a high-speed internet connection.
One good thing about Darwin’s Data is that there is no minimum withdrawal amount. You can request a payment at any time. Rewards are issued only as Tango cards. Again, if you’ll want rewards as cash transfers you won’t like the reward catalogue of Darwin’s Data.
However, if you’re fine with gift cards, there’s even more reason to fall in love with the Tango cards that Darwin’s Data issues (because of its versatility). For example, if a panel rewards with gift cards of shop XYZ, you can only use it for purchases in shop XYZ. There’s no problem except when you’ll rather not buy from shop XYZ.
Tango cards were created as a convenient method for retailers to award gift cards to customers who like a choice. When you’ve issued a Tango card, you can exchange it on the Tango website for e-gift cards to over 40 major retailers or as donations to non-profit organizations.
Retailers include giants like Amazon, Starbucks, App Store and iTunes; while non-profit organizations include Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and Clean Water Fund. Thus, Tango cards do not limit you to a particular store like the true gift cards will.
Another good thing about Darwin’s Data is that they are able to deliver fast payouts. When you request your reward, you’ll get the Tango card in your email within 72 hours.
14. IPSOS I-Say
I-Say is a survey panel that gives you a platform to say your mind and get paid for it. I-Say is owned by IPSOS. Being backed by IPSOS lends an argument to the legitimacy of I-Say.
IPSOS is an international survey and market research company that has been conducting opinion research for over 43 years. Currently, they have over 5,000 clients (which include popular consumer brands) in over 100 countries around the globe; and they conduct 70 million surveys each year and feedback consumer insight to these companies to help create/ improve products/ services.
IPSOS I-Say is exclusively a survey panel, which means that the only earning activity on the site is taking surveys. Also, they operate as regular survey panels. You’ll join; create a profile that establishes your demographics, and they’ll use the profile to send you surveys that you’re likely to qualify for.
Earning Potential:
IPSOS I-Say uses the points system; when you complete a survey, they reward you with points which you can later convert to cash. How many points you earn from a survey depends on the length of the survey, but will typically be around 45 points.
However, there are rare times when you can get surveys that’ll pay as much as 90 points. The points convert to cash at a rate of 100 points = $1.00. That means you’re getting about $0.45 per survey; and in the rare occasions, $0.90. That might not sound like much, but the good news is that IPSOS I-Say sends out many survey invites.
You’ll get about 3 survey invites each day, and if you complete all three, that’s about $1.35 each day (assuming they’re all 45 points paying surveys). If you do not qualify for a survey, IPSOS I-Say will still give you 5 points for your time.
IPSOS I-Say has a loyalty program that rewards members for staying active in the site. If you complete 10 surveys in the site, you’ll be awarded 50 bonus points in addition to the normal earnings of the 10 surveys. This is a great incentive to work hard on the site and earn more.
Our Review:
You want a site with many surveys invites so that there’ll always be something for you to do, and IPSOS I-Say ticks the box by sending up to 3 survey invites in a day. You want a site with a low withdrawal threshold so that you can withdraw your earnings as fast as possible.
Also, IPSOS I-Say ticks the box in this regard. For as little as 500 points, there are lots of $5.00 gift cards (such as Starbucks gift cards and FaceBook e-Game cards) in their reward catalogue that you can request. For some other gift cards (such as Amazon gift cards) you’ll need 1000 points ($10). If you’ll rather have your reward as cash; they can have it transferred to your PayPal account or to your Visa card.
But you’ll need to have accumulated more points. Minimum withdrawal for PayPal and Visa card transfers are 1500 points ($15) and 2000 points ($20) respectively. That said; while it’s good that there are many options in their reward catalogue, it doesn’t help that for some of the options the minimum cash out is relatively high.
When it comes to how fast you’ll get your payment, it is also directly related to how you’re getting the payment. Gift cards are received almost immediately following payment request; PayPal payment will take 1 – 3 weeks to be received; while transfers to Visa card will take 3 – 4 weeks to be received.
That said; gift cards come out as the best option to receive payment in IPSOS I-Say. With the low minimum cash-out amount, you won’t wait too long to cash out; and with fast payment guaranteed, it won’t take too long to receive your payment.
15. Paid Viewpoint
Paid Viewpoints was started in March 2011 by Umongous Inc. This company also owns AYTM.com (Ask Your Target Market), and it is the latter that operates Paid Viewpoints. Paid Viewpoints is exclusively a survey panel, which means that there are no other earning activities in the site other than taking surveys.
Paid Viewpoints are unique in not only encouraging panellists to be honest in their answers when answering surveys but in taking steps to ensure that only surveys answered honestly are harvested. They do this with their patent-pending “Trust Score” system. By this, Paid Viewpoints tracks every answer you submit to questions in the platform.
If you’re giving thought to questions and answering honestly, your answers to the same questions will be consistent. If the system determines that your answers are consistent, your Trust Score increases (as we’ll see this increase earning potential).
Getting started in Paid Viewpoints is no different from others in other survey panels. You join from the site or a referral link; after that, you’ll have to fill a number of profile surveys called “Trait Surveys”. You’ll not earn from these surveys; they are just to establish your demographics and interests so that the company will know what kind of surveys to send to you to participate in.
There are many Trait Surveys that you’ll have to fill because the company also uses it to determine your trustworthiness. Each Trait survey will have one or two questions you’ve answered before, and consistent answers to these questions mean you’re trustworthy and will raise your Trust Score.
Earning Potential:
The main surveys are short and will be answered in about 2 – 3 minutes. However, what you earn per survey depends on your Trust Score. A member with a higher Trust Score will earn more than a member with a lower Trust Score even though both participated in the same survey.
Trust Score also determine how many surveys invites you’ll get. Members with higher Trusts Score will generally get more survey invites than those with lower Trust Score. However, Paid Viewpoints sends out a relatively high number of invites. You should expect to have 5 – 6 survey invites in a week.
Lastly, there’s a referral program which you can use to earn passive income. It rewards you with 20% of the Biz survey earnings of your referrals (meaning what they earn from taking surveys minus their own referral earnings).
Brief Paid View Points Review:
The Trust Score system of Paid Viewpoints for assessing the candour and consistency of survey respondents needs to be commended. It’s true that members just want to earn extra income, but the companies who are paying for these insights need honest answers with which to shape their products/ services. I’ll like to see more survey panels emulate them in ensuring honest answers to survey questions.
That said, it hurts a little that only surveys are available for earning on the site. However, it’s super cool that you’ll qualify for every survey you are invited to participate in. One of the biggest problems with paid survey sites is disqualification from surveys.
Your profile is used to send surveys you may qualify for. When you start the surveys, the first few questions are qualifying questions which are used to determine whether you fit the targeted group for the survey. As a result, very often, you’ll have invested a good amount of time before you’ll be disqualified from the survey and won’t be able to complete it.
However, in Paid Viewpoints, that ugly and frustrating situation is non-existent. You are only sent surveys that you have pre-qualified for. Thus, you’re sure to complete any survey you are invited to participate in. This is one of the biggest selling points of Paid Viewpoints.
Their referral program is good because the 20% it awards is one of the largest in the industry, and it becomes great if you have a lot of referrals. If you shout it from the mountain tops and are able to get 100+ referrals, you’ll join a special VIP club.
As a VIP member, you’ll earn your 20% referral bonus on the fly, meaning your referrals will not need to cash out before you earn your referral bonus. The problem with the referral program of most survey sites is that you only earn the referral bonus when your referral cash out.
Many times, referrals do not reach the minimum withdrawal threshold before backing off; so while you’ll have a lot of referrals who have some money in their account with the survey panels, you won’t earn anything off them. Being a VIP club member of Paid Viewpoints help you overcome this problem; the moment any of your referrals earn anything from biz surveys, you earn your 20% immediately.
When it comes to getting paid; the minimum amount that you can cash out is $15.00. This is relatively on the high side; but by building your Trust Score and getting busy in the site, it’s reachable in no time. Paid Viewpoints used to pay using only PayPal, but they have recently added gift cards to their reward catalogue.
You’ll find gift cards of some of the biggest retailers such as Amazon and Walmart. Also, Paid Viewpoints is reputable for fast payouts; when you cash out, you’ll receive your payment within 72 hours. Visit: https://paidviewpoint.com
16. Survey Spot
Survey Spot is a rewards site that was started in 2000. As its name suggests, Survey Spot is exclusively a survey panel, which means that you cannot earn from anything else in the site other than taking surveys. Survey Spot is one of the survey sites owned by the global market research company SSI (Survey Sampling International).
Being backed by a global powerhouse lends an argument to the legitimacy of Survey Spot. They are a legit site that will pay you for your opinion. On their website, they even advertise having the “Greatest Rewards”.
Earning Potential:
Survey Spot uses the points system. When you complete surveys, you’re rewarded with points which you can later convert to cash at a rate of 100 points = $1.00. Like the regular survey panels; what you earn from Survey Spot per survey depends on the length of the survey. Typically, surveys are 10 – 15 minutes long and will pay 50 – 100 points, which work out at $0.50 – $1.00.
Survey Spot also holds quarterly sweepstake where a lucky member will win a $10,000 prize. You gain entry into the draw with every survey you complete; so the more surveys you complete, the more your chances of winning the $10,000.
Brief Survey Spot Review:
Survey spot has only surveys as its earning activity and pays just $0.50 – $1.00 per survey. Those might not be attractive points, because you’ll want a site with multiple earning opportunities and that pays high per surveys.
However, Survey Spot is able to provide a lot of surveys. This means you’ll get many survey invites. With many surveys invites you’re more likely to complete more surveys and earn more in Survey Spot than in some sites with higher-paying rates per survey but with few surveys invites.
When it’s time to get paid; gift cards stand out as the best option because it requires the least amount of points. You’ll need a minimum of 500 points to request $5.00 Amazon and iTunes gift cards. However, if you want your payment sent to your PayPal account, you’ll need to have accumulated 1000 points (which is $10.00). You can also get your reward as air miles, but you’ll need more points. Visit: https://www.surveyspot.com
17. E – Poll
Their name (E-Poll) does not do them justice. It simply tells you that they are an online platform that collects opinion; it does not tell you that they’ll pay you for giving your opinion. But that’s what E-Poll has been doing since its establishment in 1997 – paying members to express themselves. E-Poll is owned by Bridge Entertainment Inc. – a US company that offers a suite of research products.
Earning Potential:
E-Poll uses the points system; so your initial reward will be points, which you can later convert to cash prizes. You start earning the moment you join. E-Poll has a signup bonus; so on joining, your account will be credited with 100points.
What you earn from any survey you complete depends on the length and type of the survey, but it’ll be between 500 – 1000 points (see below for monetary value).
E-Poll also holds a monthly sweepstake where a lucky member gets to win $250. The cash prize of the draw might not be as big as the draws of some survey panels, but E-Poll’s draw is held monthly, while most of the other sites do quarterly.
You’ll gain an entry into the draw with each survey you complete; thus, you’ll need to complete multiple surveys to increase your chances of going home with the prize money.
Brief E-Poll Review:
E-Poll is exclusively a survey panel. You should expect to earn only from taking the survey. If you want more than taking surveys, you’ll have to look elsewhere. It is also very difficult to put a figure (or range) on how many surveys invites you should expect to get from E-Poll.
Granted, the survey invites you’ll get depends on your profile; but in some sites, it’s possible to put a figure on this, and use it to determine whether the site, on the whole, has few or many survey opportunities. At best E-Poll is mixed; some members can get as many as 2 surveys invites in a day; while some can get as few as 1 survey invite in a month.
One thing to like about E-Poll is that they have a low minimum cash-out amount. You can request payment once you’ve accumulated 2750 points, and that can be gotten after only three surveys. However, E-Poll does not have a flat points conversion rate.
As an incentive to accumulate more points before cashing out, their points increase in value as they are accumulated. The 2750 minimum points required to cash out is valued at $3.00; whereas you’ll need only 3750 points (instead of about 4580 points) for $5.00 cash out. In the same vein, to cash out $10, $20, $25 and $30, you’ll need 7250 points, 10,500 points, 16,250 points, and 18,750 points respectively.
The ball is therefore in your court; will you get the minimum withdrawal threshold and cash out as soon as possible, or will you wait to accumulate more points so as to gain more value? E-Poll reward catalogue holds gift cards of some of the biggest brands such as Amazon, Starbucks, Best Buy, and iTunes.
Other option in the rewards catalogue is getting PayPal payment or donating your earnings to a charity which includes American Red Cross, Humane Society, National Wildlife Federation, Make-a-Wish Foundation, and more. Visit: https://www.epollsurveys.com/epoll/
18. Opinion Outpost
Opinion Outpost is another of the rewards sites owned by SSI (Survey Sampling International, LLC). This is a company duly incorporated in the US and globally recognized as a consumer and B2B survey research company.
That tells you that Opinion Outpost is legit. Also, like all sites owned and operated by SSI, Opinion Outpost is exclusively a survey panel, which means that you can only earn in the site by taking surveys. Surveys in Opinion Outpost cover a wide range of topics which includes advertising, appliances, and current affairs.
Like every survey panel, after registering, you’ll complete a profile which Opinion Outpost will use in sending you email survey invites.
Earning Potential:
Opinion Outpost also uses the points system. Their surveys take about 10 – 15 minutes to complete, and you’ll earn 5 to 50 points for each one you complete. 10 points are the equivalent of $1.00; thus, each survey would net you $0.50 – $5.00. Opinion Outpost also holds quarterly prize draws/ sweepstake where a lucky member wins $10,000.
Brief Opinion Outpost Review:
The quarterly draw is one of the biggest prizes draws in the opinion research industry. Interestingly, you get an entry into the draw whether you qualify for and complete a survey or whether you are disqualified from the survey and do not complete it.
This is a plus because, in most survey sites, you’ll only gain entry to draws when you complete a survey. Thus, in Opinion Outpost, since entry is given for every attempted survey, you’ll have more entries in the draw, and more chances of being the lucky winner.
Another thing to like about Opinion Outpost is that they have low minimum cash-out amount. With only 50 points (which is $5.00), you’ll be ready to cash out. There are $5.00 gift cards (Amazon gift cards, iTunes gift card) that you can request once you’ve reached that withdrawal threshold.
You can even reach the minimum cash-out amount after only one survey. They also have PayPal payment in their reward catalogue, but you’ll need a minimum of 100 points (which is $10.00) before you can cash out via PayPal.
One thing that goes against Opinion Outpost is that it is only available for survey takers in the US. If you’re from anywhere else and want a reward site for some side income, Opinion Outpost cannot serve you. It also does not score many points for them that the site is exclusively a survey panel with no other earning activity other than surveys.
However, you’ll get relatively more survey invites from Opinion Outpost than you can get from some survey panels. Visit: https://www.opinionoutpost.com
19. My Soap Box
My Soap Box is a subsidiary of ISA (Interviewing Service of America). ISA is an award-winning company that has been collecting and processing data since 1982. Thus, there’s no doubt that My Soap Box is legit.
A Soap Box has raised the platform on which one stands to make a speech; and “Getting on your SoapBox” means addressing your views with an amount of passion. Thus ISA describes My SoapBox as their “online sample division [that]allows panel members to get on their soapbox and give their opinions to surveys”.
The good part is that you get paid to share that opinion of yours. The landing page of the website of My Soap Box says it best: “We Ask. You Earn”
Like the regular survey panels, after joining, you’ll have to complete a profile. My Soap Box will use profile to send you matching surveys. You’ll start to have to qualify for the surveys to take them. When you qualify for and complete any survey, you earn.
Earning Potential:
My Soap Box uses the points system. They’ll award you points when you complete earning activities. Points are later converted to cash at the rate of 1,000 points = $1.00.
You start earning immediately you join. My Soap Box will credit you with 2000 points (which is $2.00) as a welcome bonus. After that, you’ll have to take surveys that are sent to you to earn. How much points you earn per survey depends on the length of the survey, but it will be between 750 and 1500 points (which is $0.75 – $1.50).
It’s no news that survey takers do not always qualify for surveys even after spending some time answering the preliminary questions. To soften the frustration of being disqualified from surveys, My Soap Box will award you 10 points (which is $0.01) for every survey you’re kicked out of.
You can also earn passive income if you have referrals. My Soap Box rewards you with 250 points (which is $0.25) for every referral you make.
Brief My Soap Review:
In terms of minimum cash-out amount, reviews of My SoapBox will be mixed. On the one hand, you’ll find poor reviews of the minimum cash-out amount of My Soap Box because you’ll need to have 25,000 points before you can request payment for the first time.
In the world of paid survey sites, $25 is a high figure; and requiring one to reach that figure before being able to cash out is understandably unwelcome.
On the other hand, you’ll find positive reviews of the minimum cash-out amount of My Soap Box because, after that first withdrawal, you only need 1000 points (which is $1.00) in your account to request payment, which is one of the lowest minimum cash-out amounts in the industry.
To get paid, there are gift cards for some of the major retailers. My Soap Box is one of the few sites on this post that have only gift cards in their reward catalogue. If you’ll rather have cash transferred to your account, you’ll not be overly thrilled.
However, almost every purchase need is covered because the gift cards are for a range of stores such as Amazon, Target, Walmart, Starbucks, iTunes, Sports Authority, and more.
Also, because rewards are issued as e-vouchers, My Soap Box is able to deliver fast payouts. You’ll get the voucher delivered to your email address almost immediately following your payment request.
The referral bonus of My Soap Box is something that you may like over that of other sites. The referral bonus of most rewards sites is usually a percentage of what your referrals earn. What it means is that you can only earn from your referrals when they are active in the site. However, My Soap Box referral bonus gives you points when someone joins through you; thus, you earn whether the referral is active or not.
Another thing we loved about My Soap Box is their charity causes. Every month My Soap Box donates $500 to charity, and over $32,000 has been donated. Some of the charities that have benefited are Alzheimer’s Association, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, America Childhood Cancer Organization, and JDRF (a Diabetes Research Funding association).
My Soap Box nominates three charities each month, and members get to choose which charity gets the month’s donation. We know you’re looking at paid survey sites to make some extra money, but at the centre of every human is a heart; and what better way to make the heart happy than to donate to a charitable cause. 20. Panel Polls
Panel Polls was started in 1999. It is an online survey panel owned by the market research company Touchstone Surveys. Panel Polls introduce themselves as “The cool opinion site for Families (Moms, Dads, Kids, Teens, and Young Adults)”
When you join Panel Polls, there are exclusive communities that you can join based on your profile. If you’re a mom with children aged 2 – 17, there’s the “Paid Moms Community” where you can join and give insight on topics which include parenting, family, being a mom, cooking/ recipe and more.
There is a teen community, where teens can share an opinion on diverse topics such as entertainment, reviewing new TV shows and movies, and much more. There’s an iGamelab Beta Tester Community that’s open to kids aged 6 – 12 (albeit with a parent) and teens aged 13 – 17; where they can play, test, and give their insights on new online games, mobile games/ apps, virtual worlds, etc
Already, it’s clear that Panel Polls can be used by kids. This tells you that many of their studies include funs and interesting topics. More importantly, it means that unlike many reward programs that are only for adults (18+), Panel Polls have earning opportunities for younger teens and more.
Though they have survey panels for everyone in the family, Panel Polls is youth-oriented, focusing on families, parents with kids, and teens. As a result, if your profile is close to “a single, live-alone, no-kids, young man/ woman”, you’ll not likely to have many opportunities available for you.
After joining and creating a profile, Panel Polls will email you invitations to participate in surveys that fit your profile.
Earning Potential:
Panel Polls also uses the points system. You’ll earn points for completing tasks, and you can later convert these reward points to cash prizes at the rate of 1000 points = $1.00. The regular surveys in Panel Polls will pay about 500 – 2,000 points, which work out at $0.50 – $2.00.
However, the Panel Poll community that you join and the studies that are available for that community will also directly determine how much you’ll expect to earn from the site. Generally, the Paid Mom community members will get earn $10 – $20 in a month; active Beta Testers in the Kids Community would expect to earn $10 – $15 every month.
For the Teens community, many of the reviews and studies available will fetch you $10; while the focus group activity will fetch you much more.
In the online focus group, you’ll earn $35 – $55; while in in-person focus groups, you can easily earn above $55. There are also paid In-Person projects for parents and young adults which includes movies screening, collaborative groups, TV shows pilot testing, etc. These typically last 45 minutes – 2 hours, and will get you $75 – $200.
Brief Review:
We like that there are some high paying opportunities in Panel Polls. If you get to do a focus group activity, what you’ll earn in a few hours, would have taken you months of toiling in some other survey panels.
When it comes to requesting your payment; you can do that when you have accumulated a minimum of 10,000 points (that is $10). However, that minimum is for gift cards. They also have PayPal payment and check-in their rewards catalogue; if you’ll want rewards any of these you’ll need the minimum cash-out amount of $20.00.
We also like that Panel Poll provides earning opportunities for minors, unlike most of the other rewards sites that are only for adults. The one thing that runs against Panel Polls is that they provide these earning opportunities for only US resident. If you’re resident anywhere else on the planet; there’s no hope of using Panel Polls to earn some side income.
21. Toluna
Toluna was set up in 2000. It is wholly owned by ITWP Acquisitions Ltd, a private investment firm that is incorporated in England, and was listed on the AIM market before it was taken private. That tells you that Toluna is 100% legit.
Toluna is typically a market research platform, but they say they deliver a new category in market research, which is “Insights on Demand”. In their words: “Toluna is a global consumer intelligence company that delivers on the principles of insights on demand”. According to them, that means collecting consumer insight in real-time and feeding it to the companies needing such insight. The keyword in real-time.
Well, the small difference between what they do and what other survey panels do may not matter to most survey takers. All that’ll matter is that when you, as a survey taker, give them your opinion/ insight by answering their surveys, they pay.
In this regard, there’s no doubt that Toluna pays. They have over 9 million members making them one of the biggest survey panels. Suffice it to say that there’s no way they’ll have that many members if they simply waste people’s time and not pay.
Earning Potential:
They use the points system which awards you points which you may later convert to cash and other prizes, at the rate of 3,000 points = $1.00. Toluna offers a signup bonus so you start earning the moment you join. Upon signing up, your Toluna account is credited with 500 points as the welcome bonus.
You’ll start earning more points as you complete surveys. Typically, their surveys will not take more than 15 minutes to complete; depending on the length of the survey, you’ll earn anything between 3,000 and 6,000 points upon completing any, the monetary equivalent of which is $1.00 – $2.00.
You can also earn as much as 1,000 points simply for joining conversations and posting quality contents in the online community of Toluna. Toluna also provides opportunities to test products. If you get such an opportunity, a product will be sent to you to use for some while, after which you’ll give your insight on its performance.
You get to earn points for the testing, and you may also get to keep the product after the test. There are also games featured in Toluna that you can play for some points.
Brief Toluna Review:
Toluna used to be exclusively a survey panel; the added other earning activities such as product testing, and most recently playing games. It’s always good to have a reward site that has multiple earning opportunities, in case one wants to take a break from taking surveys.
If you have a keen eye, one thing you’ll notice is that Toluna seems to award more points for paid activities than other reward sites that also use the point system. For example, where other rewards side will give hundreds of points for completing a survey, Toluna gives thousands of points.
As a result, Toluna is touted in most review platforms as “offering a fast accumulation of reward points”. This usually gives the impression that you’ll earn more money from Toluna than from most of the other reward sites.
However, it is our position that “that you’ll get more reward points from Toluna than from other sites doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll earn more money from Toluna than from the other sites”. This is because of the equally high points conversion rate.
When it comes to requesting payment; you need to have at least 30,000 points in your account, which is the equivalent of $10.00. There are lots of gift cards that you may request for $10.00. However, if you want your reward as cash transferred to your PayPal account, you’ll need a minimum of 60,000 points (which is $20).
This makes gift cards the fastest option for withdrawals. While $10 is not the low cash out the amount we like to see, it’s relatively fine because you’ll achieve it with a little work in the site.
You can also redeem your points for “gifties”. You’ll need only a few points (50 – 100) for gifties withdrawals. Gifties simply means using your points to buy entries into prize draws. Thus, you’re not guaranteed any reward at the end of the day.
If you happen to be the lucky winner of any such draw, you’ll smile home with a big reward (thousands of Toluna points); but if not, you’ll have lost the points that bought you the entry into the draw. Visit: https://www.toluna.com/
22. Crowdology
Crowdology is owned and operated by VIGA, a trading name of Morar Consulting Limited. It is one of the fastest-growing paid online panels; thus, there’s no doubt that when you give them your insight, they’ll reward you.
The surveys you’ll have to answer cover a range of topics, but will be fun and interesting topics that would most likely be getting coverage in the media already.
Crowdology is one of the sites on this list that is exclusively a survey panel; which means that the only earning activity in the site is taking surveys.
Earning Potential:
Generally, the surveys are short and will take 2 – 15 minutes to complete. What you’ll earn for completing any depends on the length of the survey, but should be between $0.40 and $10.00.
Like most survey sites, Crowdology also has sweepstakes; but unlike others, theirs does not reward with cash prizes but with gadgets. Lucky winners of the draws will get equipment such as X- Box games, Bose headphones, Apple Watch, and more.
Brief Crowdology Review:
It doesn’t help that members can only earn on the site by taking surveys. But if you’re a pure survey fan, this won’t be a problem. At least, the surveys in Crowdology are usually interesting and fun to do. They will be things you’ll ordinarily want to contribute to without the invective of a payment. Thus, it’s guaranteed that you won’t be bored with their surveys.
Another plus is that Crowdology does not use the point system. So you get hard cash straight up as you finish the survey. When it comes to cashing out, the minimum amount you can request is $8.00, although that is if you need PayPal payment.
To get paid via our beloved gift cards, you’ll need a minimum amount of $10. That’s not the floor-low withdrawal amount we like, but it’s not overly high either.
Another thing to like about Crowdology is that they are able to deliver fast payments. Unlike some survey sites that’ll keep you waiting for too long after you cash out before you receive your payment; Crowdology pays “instantly”. E-gift cards are delivered within an hour of your payment request, while PayPal payment will be received within 48 hours. Visit: https://www.crowdology.com
23. Quick Rewards Network
Quick Rewards is a GPT site that was started by Dimitry Beker around 2002. They currently operate as an incorporated private company which means that it is 100% legal and legit. Quick Rewards Network has very good ratings in independent customers’ review platforms, which tells you that they not only pay their members but also that their overall service is top-notch.
Quick Rewards Network is one survey site that lives up to their name. They are passionate about rewarding members but are even more passionate about rewarding members quickly.
After completing any paid activity, your reward is quickly credited to your account (usually within 24 hours); they have virtually the lowest minimum cash-out amount in the industry, so you may quickly cash out your earnings; when you cash out, your payment is quickly delivered; and when you contact customer support service, they respond quickly.
Quick Rewards Network also ticks another box in the quick department, which is quick registration. Getting started in Quick Rewards Network is pretty easy and more straightforward than it is in most other rewards site.
This is because Quick Rewards does not bomb you with requests to fill profile surveys. Signing up and getting started is simply filling a 30 seconds form. While this allows easy registration, it has attendant consequences.
Earning Potential:
The main earning activity is taking the survey. Most of the surveys in Quick Rewards Network will fetch you about $0.50 – $1.00. However, at rare times, you can get surveys where you’ll earn anything between $1.00 and $15.00.
There are other earning opportunities in Quick Rewards Network other than taking surveys. You can earn from their cashback program; when you shop in any of the over 1000 stores in the program, you can get as much as 25% back.
You can also earn from watching playlist/ videos put together by Quick Rewards; you’ll get anything between $0.05 and $5.00. Other activities you can earn from include: playing games, visiting and joining another website, reading email, searching the web and more. They also have a referral program that rewards you when you bring someone on board.
Brief Quick Rewards Review:
There are advantages to having a reward site with many earning opportunities. When you’re tired of surveys, you may simply switch to another activity, still within the site, and earn money. Quick Reward site offers that, which makes them an ideal site.
The one problem that Quick Rewards Network has is a high rate of disqualification from surveys; and in our opinion, this problem is self-inflicted. Recall that the simple registration process does not require you to fill long and many profile questionnaires.
The consequence is that the company knows very little about members; and will not know what surveys members are most likely to qualify for, for them to send members only those. At best, Quick Rewards Network “blindly” send out survey invites.
These surveys mostly do not match the receivers’ profile leading to being disqualified from the surveys. When you find yourself being kicked out from too many surveys and not completing them, you’ll not be earning anything.
As mentioned earlier, Quick Reward Networks shines when it comes to paying its members. The minimum withdrawal threshold is low. With even $0.01 in your account, you can request payment; but that will have to be as a cash payment to a PayPal account.
There are definitely gift cards in the reward catalogue, but you’ll have to have a minimum of $5.00 to have your reward like a gift card. There are gift cards of a lot of the big brands such as Amazon, Disney store, Walmart, Olive Garden, Applebee’s, Red lobster and more.
With the cash-out amount low, you’ll not have to wait too long before you can request payment. And when you do, the payment will be delivered within 72 hours (for PayPal payments) or within a week (for gift cards). Visit: https://www.quickrewards.net
24. My Survey
My Survey is part of Lightspeed, which is owned by WPP, a leading communication services Group. Though the website (mysurvey.com) was created in 2001, the company has been operating (collecting consumers’ opinions) since 1946. It started out as National Family Opinion.
Maybe you’ve heard of the Conference Board Consumer Confidence Survey, which is usually reported in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and The New York Times. It’s a consumer research that is widely regarded as a leading economic indicator.
The study is conducted by My Survey; it’s conducted once every month and has been for over 40 years. That shows that My Survey is not only legit but is trusted by industry watchers and corporations alike to provide marketing information (your insights) that’ll help drive corporate decisions.
The good part is that My Survey pays you to get your insight. They report that they paid out over $32 million to their members in 2014 alone. That payout is more than what most reward sites have paid out to their members in the entirety of their existence.
Like every survey panel, when you join, you’ll complete a profile. My survey will send you email invitations when a survey that matches your profile is available, and you’ll have to participate in the survey, and complete it to earn money.
Earning Potential:
My Surveys use the point system; they award you points when you complete surveys. You can later convert these points to cash at the rate of 100 points = $1.00.
However, they do not pay flat rates; what you earn per survey depends on the length of the surveys, but would be about 50 – 125 points. With the points conversion rate, the earnings per survey work out at $0.50 – $1.25.
My Surveys also provide occasional product testing opportunities. These opportunities offer higher earnings than the typical surveys; and most times, participants get to keep the product sent to them. My Surveys also has a referral program where members can earn from. My Surveys will reward you with 150 points whenever someone joins the platform using your referral links.
Our Review:
The referral program of My Survey is one that you’ll like especially when your referrals will not be as active in the site as you would’ve loved. In most reward sites, you can only earn from referrals that are active; because the referral bonus they give you is a percentage of your referrals’ earnings.
However, My Surveys rewards you immediately when you refer someone; it doesn’t matter whether that person will continue to be active or will jump out. However, apart from the regular payment for participating surveys, there’s added incentive to be active in the site.
My Surveys holds monthly draws where they award members who actively participated in panel activities. These lucky winners are randomly selected, and given bonus points.
When it comes to requesting payment; the minimum you can cash out is 1,000 points, which is $10.00. This is an amount you can get to easily with a little work in the site. You can redeem your points for e-certificates (which include Amazon gift cards, Macy’s gift card, Bloomin’ Brands gift card, etc), PayPal payment, as well as electronic, home and personal care items. 25. Branded Surveys
If you’ve looked around for paid survey sites, you must have heard about (or seen) Mintvine. That was their name before they rebranded as Branded Surveys in 2017. So, though the name “Branded Surveys” has been on the scenes of the opinion research industry for about two years, the company itself has been operating for over about 7 years.
The company is owned by Branded Research Inc, which is a reputable market research company, incorporated in the US. So there’s no doubt that Branded Surveys is a legit survey panel that will pay you to get your insight on a range of topics (mostly about consumer goods and services).
Earning Potential:
Branded Surveys also use the points system. The award you points when you complete activities. The points convert to cash at a rate of 100 points = $1.00. After registering and completing the profile survey, you’ll be rewarded with 100 points (which is $1.00).
When taking any survey, you’ll have to answer preliminary questions, for the survey provider to determine if you fit the targeted audience. If not, you’ll be disqualified; but Branded Surveys will still award you with some points for your effort. When you qualify for and complete a survey, you’ll earn anything from 50 to 300 points, which work out at $0.50 – $3.00.
Branded Surveys also feature a lot of “Daily Polls”. These are quick polls that can take in a few seconds, and you’ll earn about 5 points per poll. You’ll find these polls when you log into your account.
Branded Surveys also have product testing opportunities and focus group activities. In product testing, you’ll be sent a product to test after which you’ll submit your opinion of the experience. You’ll get paid, and may also get to keep the product afterwards.
In focus groups, you’ll be invited into a group that will meet together for group sessions before coming up with your insight. Focus group activities are very rare; and because rare commodities are more expensive, they are the highest paying activity in the site.
You can get anything between $25 and $50 per hour. Lastly, Branded Surveys has a referral program that rewards you with a referral bonus of 50 – 200 points whenever anyone joins the platform via any of your referral links.
If you’re very active on the site, you’ll also earn bonus points in addition to what you earn as payments for completing paid activities. This is because, at the end of every month, Branded Surveys rewards their 100 most active members with 100 points each.
Brief Branded Survey Review:
One of the things we love most about Branded Survey is that they provide a lot of survey opportunities and send out a relatively high number of survey invites. In a site with a good number of invites, you’re more likely to complete more surveys, which translate to more money in the bag.
Apart from having many opportunities in the survey department; there are other earning activities on the site. You can take a bunch of daily polls to boost your reward points, and you may get the occasional product testing opportunity or focus group study.
We also like that the referral program rewards you for referrals that join, and not a percentage of what your referrals earn. That way, one can make a decent passive income in Branded Surveys, even if his/ her referrals are not very active in the site.
However, we also like that Branded Surveys reward hard work and commitment by giving 100 bonus points to the most active members of every month. With that, your referrals (and you) have more reasons to be active in the site.
When it comes to cashing out; the minimum cash-out amount is 1,000 points (which is $10). That’s not on the high end, and is something that you can achieve with minimal effort. You can get your rewards for gift cards. Their reward catalogue has other options for those who’ll prefer them – you can receive payment as cash transferred to your PayPal or Dwolla account. 26. Survey Club
Survey Club was started in 2005. This makes them one of the oldest online survey panels in the business. It is not only about 14 years of experience in providing survey panels that make Survey Club impressive; it is also the fact that they have amassed over 16 million members from 6 continents. Thus, there’s no doubt that Survey Club is a legit company.
Survey Club differs markedly from other survey panels. In many reviews, Survey Club is aptly described as a survey directory. This is because Survey Club essentially draws surveys from many other different survey panels. Thus, they act as a middle man that connects you with the other survey panels.
However, getting started in Survey Club is no different from the other survey panels. You’ll sign up and complete a profile; and using your profile, the company will send you invitations to participate in surveys that you’re likely to qualify for.
Earning Potential:
Because of the nature of Survey Club – in hosting the surveys of different survey sites, the length of surveys are different. There are very short surveys which should take 5 minutes to complete, while there are others that would take 11 – 15 minutes. How much you earn depends on the length of the survey. You’ll find surveys that pay about $1.00; while there are others that’ll pay about $3.00.
However, if the survey provider deems it that you do not match the targeted group and kick you out of any survey; Survey Club will still reward you with $0.10, which is ten times more than you’ll get in most sites when disqualified from surveys.
You’ll get the “megabucks” if you’re invited to participate in focus group activities. Such studies do not come often; but when they do, it’ll fetch you between $50 and $200 for just over a day’s work.
Brief Survey Club Review:
The fact that Survey Club is a survey directory means that they are able to provide more surveys than almost every other survey panel in the business. When you join Survey Club, you’ll find surveys that are also available in different survey sites.
As a middle-man, Survey Club simply brings together all these surveys from different platforms into one place; that is in addition to their own surveys. As a result, you’ll almost always find surveys to do in Survey Club; and by completing more surveys, you’ll be putting more money in the bag.
Another advantage of using Survey Club is that it is super convenient. More often than not, survey takers join different survey sites. It can become difficult to track all your activities and earnings in all of these sites. But using Survey Club is like using one platform to track all your earnings in different survey sites.
When it comes to getting paid, there are different options in their reward catalogue. For the gift cards, Survey Club offers choice by having vouchers of different retailers. You may also choose to be paid via prepaid cards or to donate your earnings to charity. When it comes to the minimum amount you can cash out, it is a relatively high $20. Visit: https://www.surveyclub.com.
27. iPoll
The company used to go by the name Survey Head; it was started in 2008 by two friends (Matt Dusig and Gregg Lavin). In 2016, the global survey company (SSI) only took over ownership and operation of iPoll. Thus, iPoll is another of the rewards sites on this list that is owned by SSI (Survey Sampling International LLC). As we’ve established SSI is a legit company and all its subsidiaries are also legit.
In fact, iPoll does more than most of the other SSI powered sites because they have a global presence. Where most of the other sites host panels for only persons in the US, Canada and a few other European countries; iPoll organize polls in over 34 countries in virtually every location on the globe.
This includes Europe, North and South America, Oceania, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. With their strong worldwide focus, we’re sure they’ll organize polls in Antarctica also once a way is discovered to get opinions from the penguins living there.
Getting started in iPoll is no different from what you have in most other sites. You’ll register and complete a profile; then it’s all green lights to earning when you complete surveys and other paid tasks. iPoll also has Android and iOS apps that you can use for completing paid activities instead of using the website directly.
There are other survey panels that have apps as well, but iPoll’s apps deserve special mention because there are some earning activities that are exclusive to the app.
Earning Potential:
iPoll is one of the few rewards sites on this list that does not use the point system; they pay you straight-up with cash when you complete paid activities. First, when you join them, they credit your account with $5.00 as a signup bonus.
You also earn when you complete surveys. Surveys in iPoll will take 10 – 30 minutes to complete, and you’ll earn $1.00 – $5.00 per survey.
The only other earning activities in iPoll are called assignments. These are exclusive to the apps, which means you cannot do assignments (and earn the associated payment) if you do not have iPoll app installed. However, these assignments are not brain-bursting head-cracking tasks.
They consist of simple tasks (albeit you’ll have to leave your home). The tasks include visiting particular stores, taking particular pictures and posting them (as directed) in the app, etc.
iPoll also holds quarterly sweepstakes, where a lucky member gets to win a cash prize of $10,000. All you need to be that winner is complete surveys and assignments, and beg Lady Luck to have a date with you.
Brief iPoll Review:
One of the first things that impressed us about iPoll is that they have opportunities for people from different parts of the world. Everyone needs a little income, and iPoll gives everyone the opportunity to make that little income (not just persons from the US).
Our keen eyes also say that you can get up to $5.00 per survey in iPoll. It’s not very often you see a survey panel that pays that much for individual surveys, which means that iPoll is relatively high-paying.
When it comes to requesting your payment; in their reward catalogue, you’ll find our beloved gift cards (of a range of stores including Amazon and iTunes) and PayPal. The one thing that didn’t make us smile here is that you’ll need to have $25 in your account before you can cash out.
Without mincing words, that’s high. Thankfully, with a $5.00 sign up bonus easing the way, and with a lot of relatively high paying surveys available, reaching the withdrawal threshold is not as daunting as it would have been. Visit: https://www.ipoll.com/
28. Opinion Square
Opinion Square is operated by TMRG Inc, which itself is a leading market research company that is a subsidiary of comScore Inc. These are companies that are duly registered in the US. Thus, there’s no doubt that Opinion Square is a 100% legal company.
We understand that many persons only define a legit paid online survey site by whether the site will actually pay them when they complete paid activities. In this regard, there’s no doubt that Opinion Square is legit. They advertise that they’re all about “cash and prizes”; and they’ve got to be because they have over 2 million members.
While Opinion Square works like all the survey panels, but with a small twist. Like the others, upon joining, you’ll have to create a profile which will be used to target surveys to you. However, the twist is that if you want to receive as many survey invitations as possible, you’ll have to download and install software of Opinion Square. Installing software is no big deal but for the fact that the software is used to track your internet activities.
With free access to your device, the company will have more information about you (your interest, purchasing patterns etc) than can be gotten from the profile questionnaires; and they’ll know what surveys you’re most likely to qualify for.
Earning Potential:
Opinion Square gives some points when one is disqualified from a survey. When you qualify for and complete any survey, you’ll earn only about $1.00.
The survey taking might not be very mouth-watering, but Opinion Square really meant the “cash and prizes” they advertise. There are many opportunities to win cash prizes in the reward site. One of the earning opportunities is playing their featured games; each month four random members get wins $25 each from playing instant-win games.
In other regular prize giveaways, members can win as much as $2,500, and $5,000. Lastly, in grand sweepstake of Opinion Square, the very lucky winner gets to smile home with $100,000.
Brief Opinion Square Review:
If you do not install the tracking software, there’ll only be a few surveys available to you. At best, you’ll get about 3 survey invites in a month; and you know there’s the real chance that you’ll suffer disqualification from one or two.
Installing the tracking software significantly increases both the number of survey invites you to get and the qualification rate. Thus, if you’re just about making as much money as you can from Opinion Square, you’ll just have to get the software.
However, giving the company access to all browsing activity entails giving up a lot of privacy. Just so you know, from their tracking of your browsing activity, they may inadvertently collect information such as User IDs, password, account numbers, and credit card details. Thus, it’s understandable that many persons will not be comfortable with that kind of tracking.
We’ll be fair to Opinion Square, and say it is fine that they try to really know the survey takers so that only quality insight is obtained and fed back to the companies needing the insight. However, because of the kind of sensitive data that they may collect from tracking your browsing activity, you should allow such access only if you trust their data protection measures and security systems.
It is good that one can take a break from surveys and play instant win games. The $100,000 sweepstake of Opinion Square is the largest in the industry and is 10 times bigger than that of their nearest competitors (which are usually $10,000). This makes Opinion Square something like the reward site with the ultimate jackpot.
When it’s time to get paid, you can request payment via gift cards. They have vouchers for a range of stores such as Amazon, GAP, Macy, and more. They also have a range of household items in their reward catalogue that you can request as payment. If you’ll want cash sent to your account, you’ll have to look elsewhere because Opinion Square does not support PayPal payment or transfers to prepaid cards.
One thing we didn’t particularly like is that the minimum cash-out amount in Opinion Square is $25.00. This is more than double the minimum cash-out amount that we’ll want for a rewards site, and it means you’ll have to wait longer in the site before you’ll be able to cash out your earnings.
However, if it’s anything, when you finally have $25 and request payment, the payout is delivered fast (the gift cards are delivered within 72 hours of requesting payment).
29. You Gov
You Gov was founded in 2000. In 2005, the company was listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. The company is currently a member of the British Polling Council. Though, headquartered in the UK, You Gov has 30 offices in 20 countries; they also have over 5 million members in over 38 countries; ensuring that their operation spans Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. If you still think You Gov is not legit, then nothing will appear legit to you.
The name You Gov initially got me thinking that this reward site is all about political surveys. My thoughts were off the mark. You Gov surveys cover a range of topics; sure there are political surveys, but the bulk of their surveys will be on lifestyle, entertainment and economy.
Thus, you’ll not have to ruminate over boring matters in You Gov. Also, you won’t have to spend too much time on any survey; most of the surveys in the site take 5 – 7 minutes to complete; while a few others will take about 20 – 30 minutes to complete.
Earning Potential:
You Gov uses the points system which rewards you with points that you can later convert to cash using the rate: 200 points = £1.00. You Gov starts rewarding you the moment you join. They do this by a welcome bonus that credits your account with 200 points (which is £1.00) upon joining. Then, for each survey you complete, you can expect to earn up to 400 points (which is £2.00).
You’ll also find “prize draw surveys” in You Gov. When you complete anyone of such surveys, you’ll not get points credited to your account which you can redeem, rather you’ll get an entry into a prize draw.
Brief You Gov Review:
For you to cash out, you must have a minimum of 5,000 points in your account. With the conversion rate, it means the cash-out amount is a high £25. You’ll need some effort to reach the withdrawal limit. Their reward catalogue is full; apart from the gift cards to a host of stores, you can also get your payment as mobile credit, Air Asia big points, payment to PayPal or other prepaid cards, or a donation to charity.
You may also like that reward points do not expire in You Gov. In most reward sites, after about 12 months of inactivity, all previously earned reward points disappear.
However, in YouGov, you’ll always have earned points in your account. We also liked that You Gov provides earning opportunities for people from many countries across the world unlike a lot of other reward sites. Visit: https://www.yougov.co.uk
30. Survey Junkie
Survey Junkie is actually one of the most popular GPT (Get Paid To) sites around. It was started in 2005, which also makes it one of the longest-running online paid survey sites. Apart from the occasional negative review, Survey Junkie enjoys good ratings in independent customers’ review platforms which mean that the majority of their over 7 million members are satisfied with their service.
The almost one and a half-decade in the opinion research business, the sheer number of their subscribers, and the volume of the positive reviews combine to show that Survey Junkie is a legit site; thus, there’s no doubt that Survey Junkie will pay you after spending your time in the site filling surveys.
Earning Potential:
Survey Junkie uses the points system; so you’ll get points for your efforts in the site which you may later redeem at the rate of 100 points = $1.00. Survey Junkie even rewards you with 25 points just for completing your profile.
After that, you’ll earn by taking surveys that you’re sent. The surveys are fairly short, and would take about 15 – 30 minutes to complete; and for completing any, you’ll be rewarded with 20 points to 300 points (which is $0.2 to $3.00).
Unlike most survey sites that’ll leave your dry when you are kicked out of a survey; Survey Junkie compensate you with some token points when you are disqualified from any survey.
Brief Survey Junkie Review:
To get to payment time, you’ll have to have a minimum of 1,000 points in your account, which means the minimum cash out amount is $10. With the relatively low cash-out amount, you can withdraw your earnings quickly after only a little effort in the site.
There are lots of gift cards for popular retailers that you can request as payment. If you want other payment options, you can redeem your points for PayPal and Dwolla payments. One thing you’ll like about the payment of Survey Junkie is that they are fast.
They’ll credit your accounts almost immediately you complete the survey; and also, when you cash out, you won’t have to wait too long to receive your payment.
Another thing that we love about Survey Junkie is that the platform can be used by persons who are 13 years and above.
This opens the door for a lot of teenagers to use the reward site to get some extra income. This is good because many of the rewards sites are available to only adults who are 18 years and above; and there are many in the 13 – 18 age range who would need the earning opportunities provided by reward sites.
However, it doesn’t help Survey Junkie that there are no other earning opportunities in the site other than taking surveys.
Doing one thing for too long can become tiring, and it’s only natural that one would want to take a break. But if a reward site has other earning activities, you would simply do one of such activities and still earn something. Visit: https://www.surveyjunkie.com
31. Inbox Dollars
Inbox Dollars was started in 2000. Though they offer survey opportunities, they are very popular for their paid email; an earning opportunity where you just have to read emails that they send to you. There is no doubt that Inbox Dollars is legit (that is, actually paying members).
They have issued over $57 million as payment to their members since they started operating as a reward site. The company has also gained the recognition of industry players/ watchers such as Inc. 5000.
Getting started starts with getting to their site and registering; then you’ll have to complete a profile. If you’ll want to earn from surveys, completing a profile is very necessary. Usually, surveys are targeted to a particular group, and it is your profile that will be used to determine if you fit the targeted group.
Earning Potential:
You start earning from Inbox Dollars the moment you join, and their sign up bonus is an attractive $5.00. After signing up, you may take surveys to increase your earnings. Surveys would take about 10 minutes to complete, and you would earn between $0.25 and $5.00 for every one you complete.
What makes Inbox Dollars an ideal rewards site is that the earning opportunities are almost endless. Apart from taking surveys, there are many other things to do on the site that will put the dollars in the bag.
One of the most popular earning activities in Inbox Dollars is Paid Email, where you simply have to open your inbox and read emails. If you’re very active in the site, you may get as many as three Paid Emails per day; and for each one you read, you’ll get anything between $0.01 and $0.10.
You may also print coupons and redeem them, and you’ll earn $0.10 for every coupon you clear. Shopping online can also put money in your bag through the cashback that Inbox Dollars offers; when you shop in any of the stores in the program, you’ll get back 5% of every purchase.
You can also earn $2.00 – $20.00 when you complete offers which would involve visiting other and signing up, downloading free apps etc.
You can also earn from your normal web searches. The pay is $0.01 for every four searches. The only requirement is that instead of using your regular search engine, you’ll have to use the Yahoo! powered search engine of Inbox Dollars. Other things you can earn from in the site include watching videos and playing games.
Inbox Dollars also does regular sweepstakes where members are selected at random to get cash prizes. You not only get entries into the draw when you complete surveys but also when you do other paid activities. For example, four web searches will give you an entry.
Brief Inboxdollars Review:
We love that you can earn in Inbox Dollars by doing virtually anything. Most of the earning activities are things that you probably do every day already. You definitely do some web search or check your inbox from time to time; so why not monetize it.
Also, many of the earning activities are fun and exciting activities that you’ll want to do anyway. For example, the paid videos are not just boring ads that you’ll be dying to close. They include TV shows, movie previews, news and other short interesting clips. It’s also the same for the paid games that you play to earn. These include fun and interesting games such as Chess, word search, arcade games, card games, and more.
Before it will be a payment time in Inbox Dollars, you’ll need to have $30 in your account. This is high minimum cash-out amount. In fact, it’s three times the minimum withdrawal threshold that we’ll manage. Worst still, there is a $3.00 processing fee that Inbox Dollars charges.
They can waive the processing fee, but then you’ll have to be requesting a minimum payment of $40.00. With these high amounts ($30 or$40), you’ll have to turn in a bit more shift before you’ll be ready to cash out. Thankfully, you have a host of things to do in the site to rack in the money.
You can request your payment via gift cards; they have vouchers for some of the biggest retailers such as Amazon and Walmart. They also have PayPal payment in the reward catalogue for those who’ll rather have their reward as cash transferred to their account. Visit: https://www.inboxdollars.com
32. Earning Station
Earning Station was established in 2011. It is owned and operated by iGain LLC, an online marketing company based in the US. Earning Station advertises as “the simplest platform for earning free gift cards”. Earning Station is not just a survey panel. In fact, they take pride in offering a variety of online offers and activities such as games, shopping, and others.
Getting started in the site involves the usuals – signing up and filling a profile survey. This is just submitting some information about yourself so that the company will understand your interest and know what kind of surveys to target you.
Earning Potential:
What you’ll expect to earn from completing any survey depends largely on the length of the surveys; generally, surveys in the site pays between $0.5 and $4.00.
As mentioned, Earning Station offers a ton of other earning activities. There is a cashback offer; where you’ll get 5.5% back from any purchase you make online in any of the stores in the program. Earning from shopping doesn’t end with the cashback program; there are daily deals that you can earn from such as printing and redeeming coupons.
They’re also paid videos you can watch to earn. Thankfully, these include interesting viral videos and not just boring ads. However, watching videos is a low paying activity; you’ll only be earning a few cents per video.
If you’re the gaming type; there are a few games that Earning Station features which you can play to earn about a dollar every time you play. These are most interesting casino games such as Slots and Bingo games; and apart from what you earn when you play, you could also have big winnings from the games themselves including jackpots.
One of the highest paying activities in Earning Station is Paid Trial Offers. These offers involve going to another site to join and try out their service, and you may earn anything between $5 and $15. They also offer a 10% referral bonus, which allows you to earn a decent passive income from the activities of the persons that join the reward site through you.
There is also a loyalty program in the site from which you can earn decently. It is called the Earning Station Streak; if you earn for straight days, you’ll be rewarded with a cash bonus, as well as a free spin on the Earning Station spin wheel.
Brief Earning Station Review:
One good thing about Earning Station is that they have lots of surveys available. If you’ve checked customers’ reviews of other survey sites, you’ll find that not having a lot of surveys is one complaint members have against many sites.
Customers want a site that has lots of survey opportunities because the more surveys are available, the more surveys they’ll complete, and the more they’ll earn.
Apart from the surveys, it’s also very good that the earning opportunities in Earning Station are endless. So you can steer away from surveys and play games, watch movies and do a whole lot more to earn. However, it’s not all sing-song with all the earning activities.
While the paid videos will sooth your visual senses, the earnings from them are very little and might be considered a waste of time. Also, while the paid games are interesting casino games, the downside is that you’ll have to deposit money (into a casino account) before you can play them.
Lastly, while the earning per Trial Offer is attractive, most of the offers will require you to spend your money.
We really love that Earning Station has a loyalty program that rewards being active in the site. The program amounts to paying you to get paid in the first place. You may also love their jackpot-style spin wheel.
When it comes to cashing out, you can request payment via PayPal or gift cards. They have gift cards to your favourite stores such as Amazon, Macy’s, Target, Walmart, and more. Also, the minimum amount you need to have in your account before you can cash out is a low $10.
With the host of survey opportunities and other earning activities, you’ll quickly reach the withdrawal threshold and be able to request payment. You’ll receive your payment in 4 – 6 weeks after requesting it. Visit: https://www.earningstation.com
33. Hiving
Hiving advertises as “an online consumer panelling service which allows its members to make money by completing online opinion surveys”. Hiving was established in 2009. Though based in Paris, they already have a worldwide presence.
They are one of the few reward sites on this list that organize panels for members in different countries in different locations across the globe, including the Americas, Europe, Oceania, Asia, and even Africa and the Middle-East. It’s good that Hiving offers earning opportunities to persons across the world, unlike most reward sites that have opportunities only for persons in the US and a few other European countries.
Earning Potential:
Hiving use the points system; so you’ll get points which you can convert to cash (using the rate: 1000 points = $1.00). To encourage members to complete their profile; Hiving rewards with 300 points for completing the necessary profile surveys.
With the profile completed, you’ll be sent surveys which you can complete to earn 100 – 300 points per survey. This works out at $0.10 – $0.30. This isn’t the high-paying surveys we’ll want. However, you won’t be spending much time on them; many of the surveys will take you just 5 minutes, while some others could stretch to 20 minutes.
Thankfully, there are some micro-tasks you could do on the site to put some money in the bag. These include simple tasks like data entry, tagging pictures, clicking on banners, short translation work and more. Granted these also pay pennies.
There is the occasional product testing opportunity; where you’ll be sent a product to use and comment on the experience. What you’ll earn will depend on the product you’re testing and how long the testing period is; and, you may also get to keep the product after the trial period. There is also a referral program, where you’ll earn a percentage of what your referrals earn.
Hiving does have opportunities for huge earnings, but you’ll need a date with lady luck for those. They hold two regular draws. In the first draw, they give 6 lucky members cash prizes of €100 each; and in the second draw, they give one lucky member a cash prize of €1,000.
Brief Having Review:
This is a list of survey sites that pay with gift cards, and Hiving is on it because they do pay with gift cards. You’ll find vouchers of many of the popular retailers. You’ll also find other options in the reward catalog such as PayPal payment, and donation to charity.
To request payment, you’ll need to have a minimum of 4,000 points in your account, which equates to $4.00. Hiving redemption policy is that points can only be redeemed in stages of 4,000. Thus, you can only cash out $4.00, $8.00, $12.00 and so on. Minimum cash out of $4.00 is very low, which should mean that you’ll be able to request payment after only a little work.
Having different options in the reward catalogue is good, and having low minimum cash out amount is also good; but apart from these good things about Hiving, the only other good thing about the site is their sweepstakes. True, it is not the huge sweepstake of some other sites, but unlike many other sites that award only one person, in Hiving many more persons will have a share of the pie.
But before joining Hiving, you should consider that you might not get a lot of survey invites on the site. Hiving will send you only about 1 – 4 invites in a month. With fewer survey opportunities, your earnings will be reduced. It also does not help that what you’ll earn for each paid activity you complete in the site is relatively low.
The surveys pay less than half a dollar and the micro-tasks pay even far less. That said; you might stay in the site longer than expected to even get the low minimum cash-out amount; except lady luck honours her date with you and you scoop a cash prize in the sweepstake. 34. Pinecone Research
Pinecone Research is owned by a leading market research company (Nielsen Holdings Company). The company is a “one of its kind” survey panel. Unlike other survey panels that would want as many members as possible, Pinecone Research actually restricts membership.
First, you can only join them through special affiliate links. Secondly, registration is not available all year long; they have an undisclosed quota every year, and when they get the required number, they close registration for the year.
In terms of paying members, there’s no doubt that Pinecone Research is a legit survey site that pays their members. In fact, in their early days, Pinecone Research paid $3.00 for every survey, and would immediately send out a $3.00 check to a member upon completion of any survey.
Currently, they no longer use the flat rate, and you’ll also have to request many of your payments to get paid. But they continue as a legit site that you can use to earn additional income.
Though the process of registering Pinecone Research is different from that of every other survey panel; after joining, you’ll find that they operate virtually the same way. You’ll fill a profile; and when the company has surveys that match your profile, you’ll get email invitations to participate in the surveys.
Earning Potential:
Pinecone Research now uses the point system, where you’re awarded points for your efforts in the site. What you need is money in the bank, and the points convert to cash at a rate of 100 points = $1.00. The main earning activity in Pinecone Research is taking surveys. For each survey you complete, you’ll earn between 300 and 500 points, which equate to between $3.00 and $5.00.
You can also earn by taking part in product testing. Pinecone Research pays about 600 points (which is $6.00) for each such opportunity. Apart from getting paid to participate, you may also get to keep the product for yourself.
You can also earn big from the bi-weekly and quarterly draws of the company. In the bi-weekly draw, they give 30 randomly selected members $500 each; and in the quarterly draw, they give 4 randomly selected members $4500 each.
Brief PineCone Research Review:
Joining Pinecone Research is a bit difficult because of the restriction they place on membership; you’ll have to be on the lookout for when they are accepting members. Also, they do not send out many survey invites. Thus, after joining you’ll not have a lot of surveys to do.
However, one thing that scores points for Pinecone Research is that disqualification from surveys is very rare in the site.
Unlike in most survey sites where members are constantly frustrated by being kicked out of surveys after investing some time in it, in Pinecone Research you’ll find yourself qualifying for almost every survey you are sent to participate in.
With a low disqualification rate, you’ll complete more surveys in the site, which will mean more money in the bag. We like sites with multiple earning opportunities. Though Pinecone Research does not burst the roof with various earning activities; at least, they provide the occasional product testing opportunity.
We were really impressed that the amount to be won in the sweepstakes of Pinecone Research is spread to cover a lot of persons. In most survey sites, the sweepstake model is to award a large sum to one lucky member.
Being that lucky member can become harder than threading a needle with yours close. But with the sweepstakes of Pinecone Research rewarding 30 members bi-weekly and 4 members quarterly, you’re more likely to be the lucky member.
The minimum that can be cashed out is 300 points, which is $3.00. This is a very low amount that you can get even after completing one survey. Thus, you’ll not have to work long and hard in the site before you can request payment. When it comes to payment,
Pinecone Research differs slightly from every other reward site on this post (of survey sites that pay with gift cards). In all the other sites, you can request to get any of your payments as gift cards, but in Pinecone Research, your first payment must be a check (cheque). You won’t even request to be paid; once you’ve gotten $3.00, the check is automatically sent to the address you have on their records.
After that first payment, you can then have the choice of getting paid with gift cards or any of the other options in their reward catalogue (such as check, cash transfer to PayPal or other prepaid cards, or branded merchandise).
They say the first payment is always a check sent to your address so that they can verify your account and profile. That said; gift card fans won’t be too pleased about that first payment, but at least they’ll have their choice in subsequent payments. It is because gift cards payments are not available for the first payment that Pinecone Research is placed last on this list.
You may also love that Pinecone Research always features in the list of fastest paying sites. That is, upon completing any survey, they’ll credit your account immediately; and when you cash out, you’ll receive the payment almost immediately (that is if your account has been verified).
